We watched Fast Food Nation over the weekend and while I enjoyed the movie, the more I thought about the less sense I made of it. You basicly have three separate stories going on within the same film that kind of, but don't really coincide and they may have been better off producing two fims as opposed to one.
The main storylines involve a quality control inspector(Gren Kinnear) for Mickey's, a fast food chain, investigating a meat packing plant, an illegal immigrant worker(Wilmer Valderamma) at the plant, and a teenage cashier(a girl who could have been Ashley from Growing Pains) at Mickey's who thinks she can make a difference.
The movie ended abruptly and while I don't need happy endings, I could have used a little more closure as to what happened to all the characters.
